Service Description

Performance Gym Sessions are coach-led strength and conditioning sessions designed to improve how you move, produce force, and perform. Whether you are a runner, field sport athlete, or returning from injury, these sessions provide a structured approach to developing strength, speed, and resilience. Every session follows a consistent framework while remaining tailored to the individual. We begin with a dynamic warm-up and movement-based readiness assessment to understand how your body is performing on the day. This allows us to adjust intensity and focus, ensuring each session is safe and effective. From there, we move into targeted preparation work, focusing on movement quality, coordination, and skill development that transfers directly to sport. The main phase centres around a key physical quality such as strength, speed, or conditioning. Exercises are selected based on your baseline assessment, training history, and goals. Sessions finish with a light cool down and reflection, helping you understand what you have worked on and why. All athletes must complete a Performance Baseline Assessment before joining. This ensures we can measure what matters and deliver individualised coaching. Sessions are delivered in small groups of up to four athletes. This allows for high coaching detail, regular individual feedback, and tailored adjustments, while still benefiting from the energy of a group environment. You will also receive a structured programme to follow within sessions or independently. We follow a block-based approach, with regular re-testing through Performance Checkpoint Sessions to track progress and refine your programme. Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing to book a session. Please take a moment to read through the following policy to ensure a smooth experience for both of us. Booking & Deposit All sessions require a £10 deposit at the time of booking to confirm your appointment. The remaining balance will be due at the time of your session. Deposits help secure your slot and ensure availability for others who may be waiting. Cancellations & Refunds You may cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before your session. If you cancel with more than 24 hours’ notice, your £10 deposit will be refunded in full or transferred to a future booking. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice, or fail to attend your appointment, your deposit will be non-refundable and the session may be charged in full at the therapist’s discretion. Late Arrivals Please arrive on time. If you are late, your session may be shortened to avoid overrunning into the next appointment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late without notice, your appointment may be cancelled and treated as a no-show. What to Wear Please wear comfortable sports clothing, including shorts and a sports bra (if appropriate), to allow proper access to the treatment area. This applies to all therapy and rehab-based sessions. Health & Safety If you have any current or past medical conditions, injuries, or are on medication, please inform me at the time of booking or during your consultation. Some conditions may require medical clearance prior to treatment. If you're feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms of illness, please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule. On-Site Information Free, limited parking is available on-site. Please allow time to find parking and arrive a few minutes early for your session. Respecting Everyone’s Time Cancellations and rescheduling with proper notice ensure that other clients have the opportunity to book a session and receive the support they need.
